Your information matters.
This draft policy describes the intended data flow and must be reviewed and adapted by the legal organiser before launch.
1. Information we collect
Names, business details, contact details, founder application answers, optional links, booking status, ticket identifiers, jury review notes and contact-enquiry messages, as applicable.
2. Why we process it
To administer applications, independently review founders, manage participation and paid bookings, send operational notices, coordinate event access, handle enquiries and improve programme administration.
3. Payment and storage providers
Razorpay processes checkout payments. We store gateway payment and order references, not card numbers or CVV. PostgreSQL holds the operational record; approved reporting copies may be transferred to the organiser-controlled Google Sheets account. Resend processes outbound transactional email.
4. Access, recipients and retention
Event staff access information relevant to their roles. Invited jurors may access eligible founder applications; scanner staff access only ticket check-in details. The organiser must finalise a retention schedule, privacy contact, grievance process and deletion procedures before going live.
5. Your choices and requests
Contact the event organiser through the Contact page to request corrections or other applicable privacy rights. We may retain limited records required by law, fraud prevention, disputes or financial reconciliation.
6. Important
This is an implementation template, not a legally approved privacy policy. Consult qualified legal counsel about India's Digital Personal Data Protection framework and applicable notices before collecting live personal information.
